Product Description Lactoperoxidase is an enzyme extracted from premium quality bovine milk. It has been shown to be bacteriostatic against gram-negative organisms and exhibits pH dependent bacteriocidal action against gram-negative organisms in the presence of thiocyanate and hydrogen peroxide. Lactoperoxidase offers antimicrobial properties, is resistant to proteolysis and also offers protein iodination. |
